There were no significant differences among the densities of
film samples at the 5% significance level by the Tukey test
(p < 0.05). The presence of proteins and lipids in the rice flour films
did not affect density when compared with the rice starch films.
The type of plasticizer did not influence film density (Table 1).
These results can be explained by the high concentration of starch
in the films, and also because the molecular packing is similar for all
films.
