It
should however be pointed out that an increase in branching due
to provoked curvature has been reported for fruit trees (Han et al.,
2007) and several ornamental plants such as cut flower rose (Kim
and Lieth, 2004) and Bougainvillea (Liu and Chang, 2011), but the
curvature was maintained in these different studies and was not
transitory as in the case of MS.
