In Thai education students study English as a foreign language. They use English to communicate only during class time. They do not use English in their daily life. Thus, to acquire listening abilities in a Thai environment, students must study hard and have much more time to practice their English skills. These may help them to achieve their goal. It is difficult for students to understand native speaker because they speak too fast. The listeners, especially foreign language learners like Thai students, try to catch every word; therefore, they cannot get the main idea. The students tend to become worried if they fail to understand particular words or phrases and they will feel bored and tried to deal with listening.
