1.6 Retention of Documents
All departure and transfer stations must ensure that at least one copy of the documents, including
Master Air Waybill, Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods, Acceptance Check-List, NOTOC
and other approval, appropriate to the transport by air of a consignment of dangerous goods is
retained for a minimum period of two years.
The local regulations must be complied for longer period of retention.
1.7 Exceptions
The provisions of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations do not apply to dangerous goods carried
in an aircraft where the dangerous goods are mentioned in IATA DGR subsection 1.2.3.
