each part of the machine was evaluated taking in consideration the wear that parts suffered and the possibility of lower manufacture cost. The current design has all ball bearings press-mounted on a metal frame made of welded steel sheet previously cut by water-jet. Plastic parts are also water-jet cut, leaving only a few shafts and gears to be made with traditional metal-workshop machinery. So, the new design is adapted to be built in small batches. This new machine was well accepted by local fishermen.
