The OTOP project implementation allows the OTOP producers to expand their marketing opportunities. More than 1,000 enterprises have become exporters (Ritruechai et al. 2010). In 2005, OTOP exports were valued at approximately 39,440 million baht that increased around 11 per cent from 2004 (Purnariksha 2006). Tangpianpant (2010) also supported that the OTOP project helps to expand labour markets and increase demand for local products.
