A: Why do we always have to go to the same place? Could we go somewhere different for a change?
B: We don’t always go to the same place. Last time we went to Barbados, and the time before it was
Jamaica!
A: That’s what I mean. We always go to the same kind of place—a beach resort for swimming and
sitting on the beach. Can we go somewhere interesting?
B: But that’s the whole point. You go on vacation to relax. What’s wrong with that?
A: That’s your idea vocation, but it’s not mine! I like to see interesting sights like ruins and museums,
and go to concerts, and learn about different cultures.
B: That sounds much too busy for me. I like to relax, read a book, sit in the sun, go for a swim.
A: Yes and that’s what we always end up doing.
