Singapore’ to ‘Uniquely Singapore’, our stories have been within the ambit of tourism
products and experiences (the What). We have built on our traditional strengths in
multi-culturalism, safety, integrity and ease of travel to showcase Singapore as a
unique blend of the East and West.
The evolution towards the current YourSingapore brand story was our first strike at
being more visitor-centric (Singapore Tourism Board, 2013), and connecting us with
consumers directly and in a personalised way. Acknowledging the shift towards
consumer empowerment with the proliferation of digital media, we have been
communicating how Singapore benefits consumers by empowering them with the
ability to personalise (the How). Travellers across markets can tailor their experiences
to suit their individual and cultural preferences, all within easy reach in Singapore.
However, our story still focuses on Singapore as a tourist destination.
