Response time of biosensors depended on the concentration
and content of measuring solution: shorter response time occurred
when BOD7 of measuring solution was increased by smaller steps.
Response times of P. fluorescens and A. hydrophila biosensors were
10–15 min when the BOD7 of measuring solution was increased
by a step of 5 mg l−1. When BOD7 was increased by larger steps
(10–20 mg l−1), the response time extended up to 20 min.
