Dung beetles were captured using fresh pig dung in baited pitfall traps, each baited used fresh pig dung about 200 g. (Boonrotpong et al., 2004), were randomly placed in forests to attract dung beetles (Onthophagus). Each trap were placed at a distance of about 50 m. total distance of 1000 m., about twenty pitfall traps and leave it overnight. The collected specimens were sorted in the laboratory and preserved in 95% ethanol (EtOH). They were identified to species level using Paulian (1945), Balthazar (1963) and Zunino (1975, 1979a, 1979b, 1981).
