The mechanism
of the bioavailability of hydrophobic pollutants and promoting
its aqueous solubility by the biosurfactant has been reported in
the literature [8]. Recently, biosurfactants have received much
attention in numerous environmental and industrial applications.
As a result, there is an intensive search for microbes which are
capable of producing biosurfactants for bioremediation and microbial
enhanced oil recovery (MEOR) purposes [9–11].
