I am a daily visitor at Central Plaza Salaya, where I buy food and spend money everyday. I have been parking with my motorbike on the same spot for 3 months now. I park where other bikes park as well. Yesterday coming out of the mall I noticed a piece of crumbled paper on my bike. This was a rude "letter" from the car guards/security stating that if I stop there again they will lock my bike. The "letter" was on a small piece of ripped and crumbled paper, and it was written in Thai. Being an expat in Thailand I cannot read they, but my assistant translated for me. It is my believe that this is a racist and xenophobic act, because non of the other motorbikes (driven by Thai people) had any such letter. ONLY THE WHITE FARANG! Also, there are no "NO PARKING" signs there. So security cannot enforce a rule that is not known to the public. There are numerous cars that park in the road and nothing is being done to them. Please advise. I have kept the torn paper as evidence. If the security so much as touch my bike I will sue Central for damages.
