All the experimental diets were readily accepted by both fish species at the start of the experiment and they fed aggressively during the feeding trial Growth performance and feed utilization of red sea bream were significantly improved by dietary supplementation of KH compared to those of fish fed the Con diet (Table 3).Although the fish fed the KH diet showed numerically higher feed intake than the other groups, no significant difference was found among dietary treatments. Survival rate was not affected by the dietary treatments.The results of the digestibility trial showed a significant increase in apparent digestibility coefficient of protein by dietary supplementation of both tested hydrolysates (Table 3).
No significant differences were found in whole-body proximate composition as well as hematological parameters among dietary treatments (Tables 4 and 5).
