2.2. MJ-EtOH treatment
The strawberries (860 g) were placed together with an open
vial containing a solution of MJ (164 lL in 51mL of EtOH) inside
a glass container. The container was kept at 25 C for
24 h to enable MJ to be vaporized. Based on previous studies
carried out in our lab, the fruits were stored inside the hermetically
closed container at 4 C for 7 days (de la Pen˜ a
Moreno et al., 2010b).
