PTT focuses on effective supply chain management in order to prevent and reduce supplier environment, society, and governance risks that may impact stakeholder’s trust in PTT’s operation. Supply chain management can be classified into 2 levels: corporate and business. The corporate level is responsible for general products and services procurement; in addition, corporate level is responsible for supply chain governance and PTT Group’s value added initiatives. At the business unit level, products are procured according to the business unit’s needs, these include: hydrocarbon or raw materials, which are high value transaction and include feed stock for refining process; and crude oil and other petroleum based product, which are procured on the international market.
