Woods Supermarkets Inc, began in 1947 in Long Lane, MO when my parents, Don and Bertha Woods, purchased a small country general store. Their first employee was Bert Burton, whose job was to do whatever was needed, which is the mark of a true grocer. Since our company was established decades ago, Woods Supermarket has continued to offer true values throughout all locations and departments.

From those humble beginnings, Woods Supermarket has grown to twelve Supermarkets; eleven in Missouri (Bolivar, Buffalo, El Dorado Springs, Nevada, Sedalia, Stockton near Stockton Lake, Eldon, Osage Beach, Lake Ozark, Sunrise Beach near
Lake of the Ozarks and Warrensburg) and one in Fort Scott, Kansas. There are also five Woods Express locations that have convenience fuel stations and we have recently partnered with Signal in Buffalo, MO, Woody’s Fast Stop in Stockton, Eldon Eagle Stop, Parkway Eagle Stop in Osage Beach, Signal in Camdenton and Rick’s C-Store in Lake Ozark so our customers can redeem their fuel rewards at this locaiton. Additionally, Woods is continually looking for expansion opportunities.
