For MOMers learning needs analysis is conducted annually via Individual Development Plan (IDP) and discussed during performance management dialogues between supervisor and staff. Competency gaps and Individual Learning Roadmaps (ILR) are discussed, together with their current performance and career.
At the departmental level, learning and development needs are discussed and reviewed at the annual workplan exercise to ensure that training in the coming year serves to address competency gaps and build new competencies identified for key strategic priorities.
