I finished a bachelor of public health degree from Sirindhorn College of Public Health, Khonkaen, Thailand in 2017, During my undergraduate career, I have gained knowledge and experience in the classroom, in the laboratory, and in practice. I have been a health officer in Primary Health Care Unit in Udonthani Province, Thailand since 2017. I work about the health promotion and health policy for make the population becomes healthy, such as exercise, Immunization, Health Education, Environmental Sanitation, Occupational Health, Environmental management and Prevent and Control disease. In the future, I plan to study in M.S. Programme in Health Economics at Mahidol University, Nakhonpathom, Thailand, and I plan to study in Ph.D. Programme, especially in Environmental health at khonkaen University.
During in my study in Bachelor degree I have the research study Factors Relating to Healthy Exercise Behavior of students at Sirindhorn College of Public Health, Khon Kaen Province. In 2015, I had the experience the internship at a community hospital in Kalasin province, Thailand the most experience that I was learning included treatment, health promotion, prevention disease and rehabilitation patients. In 2016 I had the experience the internship at a community hospital in loie province, Thailand I was
learning about environmental health care such as detection of contaminants in food,
Study on the water supply system. These experiences made me gain a lot of knowledge and add more skills
I plan to study in Ph.D. Programme, especially in Environmental health. I am really interested in promoting health in Thailand. From my experiences and the present situation, According to the latest estimates from WHO. Environmental risk factors, such as air, water and soil pollution, chemical exposures, climate change, and ultraviolet radiation, contribute to more than 100 diseases and injuries. From my point of view, by focusing on reducing environmental and social risk factors, nearly a quarter of the global burden of disease can be prevented. Examples include promoting safe household water storage, better hygiene measures, safer management of toxic substances in the home and workplace. At the same time, actions by sectors such as energy, transport and agriculture are required urgently, in cooperation with the health sector, to address root environmental and social causes of ill-health that lie beyond the direct control of the health sector.
I am especially interested in a Ph.D. Programme at your university because of programme objectives or curriculum of this programme. With the knowledge and experiences gained from this study, it will help me greatly to solve human health problems. Environmental health is focused on the natural and built environments for the benefit of human health, whereas environmental protection is concerned with protecting the natural environment for the benefit of human health and the ecosystem. Furthermore, I strongly believe that studying at your university will lead me to achieve in public health career because your programme is able to develop my knowledge and skills to be a competent, researcher and professional officer.
