Other finding of the present study reveals a difference, though not
statistically significant, in the effectiveness of anger management
training program in managing aggressive behaviors in adults with
mental retardation with respect to level of retardation. The
participants with mild mental retardation are more benefited by
anger management training program in managing aggressive
behavior as compared to adults with moderate mental retardation.
It may be so, because participants with mild mental retardation
are having less intellectual deterioration as compared to the
participants with moderate mental retardation and comparatively
they understand the instructions easily and they also know how to
identify and use the cues, reducers and reminders for managing
