Quantification of bean golden mosaic virus DNA in whitefly (Bemisiatabaci) interacting with genetically modified (GM) and non-genetically modified (non-GM) bean plants for 4 and 8 days. For semi-quantitative analyses, PCR reactions were subjected to an initial treatment at 95 ◦ C (5 min) and 25 cycles of amplification (95 ◦ C for 1 min, 55 ◦ C for 1 min, and 72 ◦ C for 1 min), with a final elongation cycle of 5 min at 72 ◦ C.
