Compliance is determined
1) & 2) & 3) on the basis of the circuit diagram and by visual inspection.
4) by conducting the short-circuit/open-circuit test for any two terminals of IC in the circuit, in
accordance with PCSS-Q-07004 "Safety test when short or open circuit occurs in electrical
circuits."
a) on the basis of the protection performance (fusing characteristics etc.).
b) by conducting the short-circuit test.
c) by confirming whether or not the resistor has allowance in terms of power.
d) by confirming whether or not the surface of the PWB is carbonized.
5) a) by visual inspection of the PWB and on the basis of the service manual.
b) by conducting the double voltage test.
c) on the basis of the fusing characteristics of the pattern fuse.
d) on the basis of the fusing characteristics of the pattern fuse, including variations.
e) on the basis of the division standards.

Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law).
