For instance, Berscheid and Walster (1978), Byrne (1971), and Duck (1977) provide extensive discussions of interpersonal attraction measurement, includ- ing the application of different types of scales, selfreport measures, and even unobtrusive measures. Byrne's (1971) Interpersonal Judgment Scale (IJS) is widely recognized as the most commonly used personal at- traction scale. Scales and measures for organizational level attractiveness can be derived or developed from industrial marketing and purchasing studies such as Ramsay and Wagner (2009), or from the large body of research on value in business exchange (see for instance (Ritter & Walter, 2012)).
