For GIS with voltage of 252 kV or above, installation
method of one-phase single enclosure is frequently used, while
for GIS with voltage of 126kV or below, that of three-phase
common enclosure is adopted. In order to study the difference
in propagation of electromagnetic waves under these two
situations, two GIS simulation computational models are
constructed, respectively, as shown in Figure 5; one is onephase
single enclosure, and the other is three-phase common
enclosure. With their conductors, diameters of outer shells, and
simulation settings being identical, the simulation computation
is then carried out, respectively.
