The crude birth rate reduced from 23.4 per thousand populations in
2000 to 17.5 in 2010. Meanwhile the crude death rate increased from
4.5 per thousand in 2000 to 4.8 in 2010. The infant mortality rate
reduced from 6.5 per 1,000 live births in 2000 to 6.8 in 2010. The
maternal mortality rate has been 30 per 100,000 live births since
2000.
