G1.3.7.1 Role Purpose Statement
Training Instructors are appointed by the Director, Ground Operations and reports to the Training Supervisor. They are responsible for conducting training activities to ensure all ground operations staffs are fully informed and proficient in performing their functions.
G1.3.7.2 Job Descriptions
Instructors are responsible to:
• Prepare classroom lectures in accordance with the relevant syllabi;
• Develop and prepare trainee manuals and handbooks;
• Make productions of training aids;
• Perform instructional duties;
• Prepare and ensure a quality classroom environment for lectures and a safe environment for practical training activities;
• Formulate and conduct written examinations, practical drills and competence checks;
• Mark written examinations, evaluate practical competence;
• Provide feedback to trainees on examinations, checks and evaluation;
• Ensure required training forms, files and documentation is completed after every training activity or course;
• Ensure all training records are filed and retained as prescribed in Company Quality Management Manual;
