Content Marketing World (CMW) is the largest content marketing event on the planet, bringing together many of the world’s best known tech companies and other innovative tech professionals to learn, network and share strategies.
Because most attendees at CMW eat, sleep and breathe tech, building a mobile event app for this event was no small task. While FLIRT’s app brought together practical event management features like a real-time updateable agenda, push notifications to engage attendees and the event feed to take snapshots of attendee sentiment, the expectations of this audience challenged us to take our app to a whole new level.
To ensure that the app resonated with this group of hyper-social, tech junkies who would potentially be using their phones to access other social media channels, we had to build sustained interest and reinforce the event’s key messages both before and during the event.
