VCL assisted with formalities and delivery but the formalities were a mess because no clear instructions from VCL regarding the correct wording on the documents sent by owners.
Owners now inform they will not pay for document revise and storage costs because they say not their fault the wording changed many times.
1. If owners are not paying us we will need credit note from VCL to return these amounts paid already
2. You or VCL or both have to check with customs which is the EXACT correct wording required, and after that prepare a draft so that we can send that as example in case of new inquiries to assist with spare parts for ships
Please note:
It is not acceptable to say that one customs officer has one wording and another customs officer has another wording.
There should be ONE correct way for all customs officers to use, and if some customs officer difficult VCL/you should not accept but contact a higher officer or the offi
