The concentrations emitted were compared with those ofthe Venturi scrubber operating (Venturi on) in the clean-ing process and not operating. The values can be seen inFig. 2, which shows the removal efficiencies for each diam-eter range in the cascade impactor, with V th = 174 m/s anda water flow rate of 6.0 L/min. The PM retention in severalPM diameter ranges can be observed due to the performanceof the Venturi scrubber. The tests with VG = 174 m/s and aliquid flow of 6.0 L/min were the most consistent, accordingto what was expected for the experiment. Particle removal,in the range of 2.0 to 4.7 μm, showed greater efficiency ofthe Venturi scrubber in collecting PM.
