It is apparent that emotional intelligence and organizational culture is a relatively new avenue of research particularly in relation to leaders and thus it is beneficial to understand the relationship between leaders‟ emotional intelligence and organizational culture from the employees‟ perspective. Many culture theorists have classified culture into different dimensions. It would be interesting to see how leaders‟ emotional intelligence can affect each of the cultural dimensions. Furthermore, most studies on leaders and organizational culture have been conducted in western setting and samples collected in Malaysia are limited. This study intends to address these research gaps.
