The preparation of hydrogel film considering as a food packaging material (Roy, Saha,& Saha, 2011) using synthetic and natural biopolymers and the nature of alteration of its properties occurred due to biodegradation under liquid state of environment.The mixing ratio of two main biopolymers (polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)) in the above mentioned hydrogel film was optimized/selected on the basis of its significant mechanical strength properties and then the biodegradability study was performed using the film prepared with selected/optimized concentration of PVP:CMC
