4 - Newspaper style
They say print media is dying. Packaging is ready to take up the baton. We now see so much packaging with newspaper-like mastheads and acres of print and little or nothing in the way of visuals. Consumers at the point of sale are eager for more and more information about the products they buy and this is a good way of speaking straight to the customer. After all, aren't we forever being told that packaging is a medium in itself?
