According to the error analysis we conducted, these errors are
mainly attributed to the reading accuracy of instruments. The
measuring accuracy of a hot-wire anemometer (Testo 425)for measuring
air speed is of ±0.03 m/s + 5% of reading for the measuring
range of 0–20 m/s. Also, the pressure measurement system has an
error of ±(2.5 + 5% FS) Pa. In general, the simulation results of the physical air velocity, the pressure inside and the relation of supply
air flow rate on the total pressure inside are in good agreement with
the corresponding experimental results. Therefore, the rationality
of numerical methods in present work is verified by the comparison
of simulation and measurement on airflow characteristics.
