Problem Statement
When you correctly identify the problem, the task of describing it should not be
difficult. Describe the problem in such a manner that it can be solved. There is a real possibility of hindering problem solution when you describe several problems rather than a single one. It would be difficult to address the advantages and disadvantages of the alternative solutions of each problem within the scope of the expected report.
Do not attempt to solve the problem in this section - simply describe it in clear and precise terms. The best approach is to begin with 'The main problem is ...' You can also use this section to briefly describe the effects of the problem(s) on the firm, and to identify related problems.
