I hardly complimented our people who have tried to better customer service! Not that I am very fussy about this matter but because there are still so much room to improve in order to excel.
As TRIA's Mentor and President. it is my prerogative to comment on overall operations of TRIA. No one is in a better position as myself to give fair comments since I have had more than 40 years in hospitality service. Besides, I have closely monitored each of our executives at various business units, both front-line and back-office staff. Many of you must have been surprised as to why I seemed to know everything happening at TRIA, especially to our people despite I seldom interfered with the day-to-day operations? The truth is, I have my own way of knowing the things without being told by anyone. You can call it professional instinct or hunt or even sixth sense.
The point is, today, I want to congratulate our executives who have put all their attempts and efforts to improve the operations and customer services. It may not be perfect yet but we are on the road to perfection if we continued to do and try our best. However, the important thing is, each senior executive must work harder to foster good teamwork among his/her staff. Each senior executive must always walk around to inspect facilities, inspect orderliness and cleanliness, greet customers, cheer up and inspire the junior staff. Spend less time in offices but spend most time on the floors; spend less time on paper works but spend more time with your staff to encourage and motivate them to work in accordance to management's policies of total wellness being.
Our new tagline of "We Enhance Your Life" is not only applicable to customers but also to our own staff. Make sure that your staff feel enhanced when they work with TRIA, so that they will in return help to enhance customers' life and well-being. If you want to run a successful wellness destination you ought to focus on staff first, failing to do so will become just a "lip-service". There must be no "lip-service" of any kind at TRIA. Neither double-standard !
I have told all of you earlier that I intend to stay here a little bit longer to see to it that everything will fall in good place. I have no intention to stay here the rest of my life, hence be competent and consistent in all the works you do. Better still, always follow up and remedy all works you are engaged into. Be initiative and pro-active.
Life is usually short, especially life at TRIA - so do your best and be the best team !
