● Introduction.
This study examined the recovery of nickel and cobalt from organic acid complexes using a chelating aminophosphonate Purolite S950 resin.
● Methods.
Examine a sample of absorption nickel and cobalt with aminophosphonate Purolite S950 resins then compare with Freundlich modle and Langmuir modle.
● Results.
The absorb of nickel has value near the value from Freundlich equation. But cobalt has value near the value from Langmuir equation.
● Discussion.
The relative adsorption capacities of the metals were found to be strongly dependent on the size of the ligands.Lactate which was the smallest ligand was found to have the highest adsorption capacity followed by the larger malate and citrate complexes.
