Prior to this work, various approaches have been used to solve fractional differential equations. In thispaper, fractional differential equations have been solved using the Sumudu transform after derivingthe related formulae for fractional integrals, and derivatives. Now, by using the results in the previoussections, and enlisting the help of the sumudi table in the Appendix, along with the sumudi tablespreviously published in the works of Belgacem et al. [6-7], the Sumudu technique can be used tosolve many types initial value problems in applied and engineering fields. Applications in quantummechanics and fractional diffusion seem to be highly suitable for such methods, despite the intricacies. We plan to look in this direction in future attempts.
