Requirement
3 - 8 year work experience as "Merchandiser" from Garment or Textile related industry
Possess strong management and communication skill to coordinate between Pomelo’s internal design team and suppliers and manufacturers on product development
Proactive and ability to independently manage work with tight deadlines
Experience in women Fashion and can troubleshoot product & quality issues
Bachelor degree in textile/ clothing industry is preferred
Previous work experience in an international company
Fluency in English
Responsibilities
Work for an international fast fashion company in manufacturing of apparel products
Review, plan and issue orders for products, fabrics, and other materials to meet manufacturing plan
Work closely with Pomelo’s in-house sampling, product costing and pricing teams
Negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers to achieve best cost & quality for the products, while ensuring that product launch deadlines are met
Work with internal and external suppliers, and resolve or report delays and other problems
Coordinate all other product-related tasks including labels, packaging, QC, inspections, etc.
Update and maintain product specification files
Administrative tasks e.g. prepare swatch cuttings, supplier payments, filing
