Shobana et al. (2011) evaluated
phytochemicals including dietary fiber, c-oryzanol, vitamin E,
and total phenolics in two varieties of Indian rice with different
DOMs, and a recent study investigated the effect of DOM on total
phenolics, flavonoids, anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins in pigmented
rice with different DOMs (Paiva et al., 2014).
