Monogenetic fans. These fans are composed of a single depositional
unit with minimum exposed thicknesses varying from 5 to
9.5 m. The deposits are tan to light brown in color, partly massive
and highly indurated. Rare lenses (≥1.5 long and 0.35 m thick)
made of medium sand fragments may occur within the massive deposits.
The massive deposits are heterolithic with sub-angular to
sub-rounded fragments of centimetric diameter. Some fragments are
occasionally oriented and set in a medium sand-sized matrix. The components
of the deposits consist of abundant granite, schist, sandstone
and quartz.
