Hello,
Thank you for downloading VSCO Cam for Android and reaching out to VSCO Support. We understand you are experiencing some technical issues with VSCO Cam for Android and we would be more than happy to help you sort this out. First, we ask that you close out any apps running in the background, this can potentially help resolve any crashes that you are experiencing. If that doesn't help, please answer the following questions:
What version of VSCO Cam are you currently running? You can locate this by tapping the menu icon on the lower left corner (three lines) and then selecting "Settings" the version will be displayed on the bottom right corner. Please include the entire version number
How much storage is available on your device? To locate your storage on your device go to Settings > Storage, if possible send us a screenshot of that available storage screen.
Please keep in mind that VSCO Cam is a memory intensive mobile application and requires a great deal from the device's processor. If your memory is running low, the app may not function fully.
I'm going to have one of our Android developers look into this issue and one of the key pieces of information that they have been asking us to retrieve is your IP Address on both WIFI and cell network. You can easily locate your IP address by going to to this link: http://www.whatsmyip.org
Many, but not all devices running Android 4.0 and higher will be able to download the app. Although we would love to support all devices, not all mobile devices are properly equipped for optimal performance of VSCO Cam. Your device must have internet capabilities, a rear facing camera and updated Google Play Services in order to run VSCO Cam. To view a list of optimized devices please visit: https://vsco.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200442734-VSCO-Cam-Which-devices-are-supported- According to the information that we have gathered, your device may be one of these unsupported devices.
If you have experienced a crash, please send the crash log immediately after the crash occurs. To send over your crash log, within VSCO Cam go to Settings > Support > Send Bug info to Support be sure to include any specific details to the crash and issues when sending this bug report, including the approximate time of the crash.
Thank you again for your continued support. We will get back to you as soon as we have more information.
