Server Room - Weekly
Server room or central UPS load % (load should be < 80% of total capacity) *
Server room or central UPS battery status (battery > 60% of total capacity = good) *
✓ Server room camera is running
✓ Server room access log is checked and verified
Raiser - Weekly
Visit Raiser racks and check for following:
✓ Raiser UPS has no warning condition
✓ No equipment has warning lights
✓ Any installed PoE injectors are working
✓ Make sure all cables are socketed tightly
✓ Clean up trash / old equipment / cardboard etc
✓ Lock all raiser racks and keep keys save
Servers and Storage Testing - Weekly
Server checking for all servers, physical and virtual
✓ Check CPU load to be normal (10% free RAM over a 10 minute period)
✓ The disk/partition utilization is good (>10% free space)
✓ The local administrator group does not contain unknown users or unauthorized
✓ Guest user is disabled
✓ Check event log for critical issues and for failed logins. If you have critical issues that you cannot explain yourself, ask Onyx IT for support. If you have many failed logins, verify from where they come (source IP) and ask Onyx IT for support
✓ No remote management software is running if not actually used (team viewer, VNC, logmein)
✓ Check system time and update to be correct
Antivirus - Weekly
✓ Review Antivirus Dashboard for incidents and all system up to date
✓ Move all computers to correct group and apply correct policy
✓ Deactivate all computer unknown or removed from the system
✓ Investigate and fix any host reported as Not seen recently but should be online

✓ Check Business Center/Internet corner computers to be up to date (patches and antivirus and SiteKiosk etc.).
✓ All client computers are patched (WSUS dashboard) – manually follow up any unpatched systems
✓ Any server computer is patched (except PMS/POS), schedule patch installation window if not
✓ PMS / POS server is patched after Onyx request
