Business operators in Thailand took 264 days for preparing tax payments, longer than Malasia at 133 and Singapore at 82, while registering a business consumed 27.5 days in Thailand compared with 5.5 in Malaysia and 2.5 in Singapore.
Adjustment of business practices would be worked out in parallel with launching an e-payment system that could facilitate doing business, particularly tax payments.
