On his popular talk show, Dr. Oz called Glutathione, “The most powerful antioxidant you have never heard of.” He then asked his guest Dr. David Katz, the Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center, why have most never heard of Glutathione?
In essence, Dr. Katz replied that most people hadn’t heard of Glutathione because it’s the antioxidant that the body produces by itself. It cannot successfully be taken orally in its molecular form and thusly hasn’t been marketed along side other antioxidants we're more familiar with. Until now a successful precursor formula that has all the building blocks for your body to make Glutathione hasn't existed.
Although Glutathione may be relatively unknown to the general public, it is very well known to medical scientists, chemists and molecular biologists. In fact there are twice as many scientific studies on Glutathione (more than 100,000 and growing) recorded in PubMed as there are on vitamin C. PubMed is the online medical science library of the U.S. Government.
Dr. Katz continued to say “If you’re run down; if you’re chronically fatigued; if your body just isn’t firing on all cylinders, low Glutathione may be part of it, both cause and effect.”
