Table 4lists the comparison of the maximum adsorption capac-ity of RB 19 on as-prepared MgO material obtained in this work
with those reported in recent literatures using MgO nanoparticles
or other sorbents[37–39]. It was found that the obtained MgO
nanoparticles exhibited a relatively large adsorption capacity in
comparison with the other sorbents, which was in the order of
250, 166.7, 200, and 97.1 mg g
1
for the as-synthesized MgO, the
reported nanosized MgO, modified bentonite, and wheat bran,
respectively. Moreover, high adsorption capacity of the as-pre-pared MgO can be observed for almost entire range of pH (3–12);
