1. Ensure lobby area are always covered by a security officer at all time.
2. Check guard post and the assigned perimeter guards if they are in their proper posts.
3. Handle guest complaint with tact and diplomacy. Complaints handled results both to the satisfaction of the guest and protection of the hotel’s interest.
4. Make a round of the hotel twice during the shift and see to it that everything is in order in the areas inspected.
5. Record in the log book any irregularities discovered and prepare written report and submit to the management.
6. Prepare a report of accidents to guests, employees and non-hotel guests as well as reports of loss and/or damage to person and property inside the premises, and also immediately follow up report on loss or damage.
7. Discuss with the Rooms Division / Front Office Manager, problems encountered during the night before bring them up to Executive Assistant Manager
8. Handle relevant comments or complaint of hotel guests and escalate to Front Office Manager

1. Close co-operation with the F&B Department is also necessary particularly when there are no F&B Executives on duty, thus requiring your intervention on cases of abuse from customers, complaints, public disorder, etc
2. Check on employees sleeping while on duty and using the lobby areas as entrance / exit
3. Require gate pass for any items to be brought out of the hotel.
4. Co-ordinate with security officer on duty to preparing the report whenever necessary. Get acquainted with all security procedures and know well where guards should be stationed
5. Check on the general appearance of all staff during hour of duty and make spot checks on the performance of all staffs
6. Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager
