• The process mix tank has been properly sanitized and dried.
• The Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (338080) is free flowing and without lumps which can affect dispersion/hydration of this material and as a result affect final product viscosity.

1. Charge 90% Deionized water (336701) to mix tank. Ensure that the water temperature is 15°C-35°C. Take a sample from the mix tank to the Quality Control lab (QC) and test for the following:
• Resistivity must be 150,000 ohms minimum.
