Self-growth is offered to employees while working in McDonald’s through trainings (Hunt,2013). McDonald’s have their own University, Hamburger University, which provide training to work in McDonald. Through this training, employee become more confident – they upgrade their skills and know better what to do in the workplace- and achieve esteem. Employee who work for McDonald’s are mostly students, therefore McDonald’s offer them shifts after school time and on holiday (Goldman,2009). Students not only benefit from gaining experiences of working but also achieve esteem as they achieve a sense of achievements which is beyond studies. By achieving esteem, employees are inspired and be able to inspire others too.
