Plants in urban areas may improve air quality by removal of
gaseous pollutant and of particles [8]. Many scientist recommends
grow of green vegetation in and around the industrial/urban areas
[15,16]. Heavy metals and other toxic particles have been shown to
accumulate, causing damage and death of some species [17]. It also
exerts aggravating effect on agricultural production and the green
house effect [18]. In this paper, an attempt has been made to overlook
on mineralogical compositions existing in air dust particles in
various districts of Tamilnadu, India.
