2. Task Switching: We all have task-switching problems when we are interupt in the middle of a
challenging task. It is hard enough to produce a complex design, for example, without having to do it in short,
disconnected bursts of time. Every time you return to the task, you must reconstruct the mental context for the
work before you can make further progress. Even then, if you did not stop with a fully documented record of the
work done to date there is a good chance you will overlook something critical.
