In the context of migrant labour it is important that migrant workers are aware of their right to collectively discuss matters of interest to them and that they can establish their own groups and leadership in term of engaging in discussions with the employer. If the workers wish to organize collectively across several farms this must also be respected and time given to them to do so. For purposes of clarity of communications and to diminish misunderstandings it is recommended that the migrant workers can establish their needs and points of discussions in their own local languages in case that their use of Thai language is limited.
